I am looking into this still but still wonder WHY I have an out dated version according to Ccleaner. I am going on 4 weeks of being disconnected while playing PC games; whether it is destiny 2 or escape from tarkov. So far I have reset the network through windows setting and tried to update the Intel Ethernet Connection which CCleaner says I have a outdated version.
Specs:
MB Asus Z590
Connection is hardwire cable.
Windows 10

What's happening exactly? Like are you intermittently being disconnected when playing? Does Windows say network cable is unplugged when this happens?

Usually it's the network cable when that happens, rarely drivers. I have same chipset motherboard and have never updated lan driver for it so it'll be just as old.

I have a pc with the same ethernet model. I checked the driver version in Windows Device Manager and it was similar to yours. v12.19.1.32.
Had a look at Intel's web site for Network adapter drivers and found this. Downloade3d the latest version of 29.3 on 23/8/2024and it checked out as all ok in Device Manager. You could take a look at that.

Why would you trust 3rd party software?

and please realize that an outdated driver doesn't mean you will encounter problems. latest driver not necessity will make your system better or more stable, sometimes it's the opposite.

Windows XP/Vista/Win7 are all outdated but still used by people around the world.

If you really want newest driver, go to Intel website and download then install the newest driver
