It will work 100%. Unless something is wrong with your drivers or your X45 chip is defected. Also it depends on the monitor. If you are using an HDTV at that resolution it may not work. Older HDTV's used to be that resolution and the onboard chip will notwork using the HDMI port, for the DVI, its possible but using a regular pc monitor with a dvi or vga connection is ideal.
