Intel graphics card is apparently something essential...

So i have a notebook laptop running on windows 8 and i deleted something called an Intel graphics driver thinking it wasn't a big deal. MY MISTAKE. Whenever i close my laptop and open it up the screen is dark with nothing but a cursor and i have to shut it down?? I tried re-downloading whatever the heck it was but im afraid ill mess something up. Please help.
