i have upgraded my pc from xp to 7. I scanned my pc with windows 7 upgrade advisor and the result was possitive. but when i tried to install my motherboard drivers the intel graphic, media accelerator failed to get installed.why??plz help me...my motherboard is intel DG41RQ, i have a 2 GB ram on 500GB hard disk & my processor is intel pentium (2.6 GHZ). is there problem in running windows 7 in my PC???

win7 install process with active internet connection and even windows update should have found the correct driver and did full install without needing a CD..
it's possible that this chipset is not compatible with win7 aero interface and therefore preventing install...
if the above driver does not work then your looking at either a incompatible chipset or even a bad chipset (defective)..

try and perform a complete full install of win7 including deleting and re-formatting of HDD.
this time with active internet connection select win7 to download updates during install process.
last resort.

I have the same problem too .when I put my mother board CD and run the setup it says OS not supported????

I think windows 7 is OK
