Intel H61 Chipset

Hello All
i have win 7 in Motherboard Giga-G31M-ES2C with Intel ICH7 chipset.
i will change motherboard with intelH61 chipset. Do the windows need to replace.?

I would recommend reinstalling Windows when you change motherboards.

Make sure you upgrade the processor with that motherboard, as your current processor will not work in the new motherboard.

If your Windows is OEM then yes. OEM licences are tied to the motherboard so by changing it you will lose the licence. If you have a retail version you can move it between the computers.
