intel hd 5500 shared 128mb

Hi, I have a laptop with Intel HD 5500 core i5 with 128mb dedicated and 4181mb shared memory. I am wondering if I can play Skyrim. I ran a system check and (everything else is fine) but apparently the 128mb is not good enough, but reading about it I read that the "shared" part will make up for it? How does that work? Is that true? What does the 128mb mean, do i actually have 4300mb of video memory?

Tbe hd5500 is not capable of running Skyrim at a playable fps.

Shared vram means the gpu with use system ram as vram, but system ram is usually much slower than dedicated vram.

It will automatically adjust the size and use part of the system memory for the integrated graphics( HD 5500) to use.
