I have a new 10700K system with an integrated Intel Ethernet Controller I225-V (2.5GHz? Pfft). My prior setup would get a full gigabit connection to the internet with the same cables, but now I can't break 200mbit, and it seems exactly 200mbit.

Any ideas?

A cable working with one device does not guarantee compatibility with another. The simple thing is to start with a brand new cat5e or cat6a, round 100% copper 22-24 gauge ethernet cable. No flat cables, no CCA cables.

Hi Paratus, sorry to hijack but did you find an answer to this? I have the exact same issue on my ASUS Z490 Gaming F MB. I have 480mbps internet but nic is only passing half that. Installing a TPlink nic works fine.

Kind regards
