Intel i3 vs pentium

Hello, i have bought a €700 samsung laptop with a intel core i3 M33 2.16GHz and my friend bought a HP laptop for €700 with pentium ( don't know exactly wich one but theyre from 2010) so i wanted to know what processor is better?

Depends. A fast dual-core will be faster than a i3, so will a quad core. Need to list the exact CPU.
