Hello, like many hardware that I bought I registered / verified them online

I bought Intel Core i5-2500K CPU few hours ago, is there anyway to verify it @ Intel website ? I know its hard to make a fake Intel CPU lol but just to feel better

Download and run cpu-Z.
It will identify the cpu and tell you what the bios is, and the clock rates it is running at.
Look on the chip, and find the s spec id, and check that out. Sometimes it might be an engineering sample.
