Intel i5-6500T VS Intel i7-6700T - Which to Choose?

I am currently looking into a custom Lenovo M700 Tiny unit.

I am stuck between going with the i5-6500T or the i7-6700T.

I will not be using it for gaming, but i like to multi-task and use multiple web browser tabs, while listening to music and downloading content.

They are both quad core. Do you guys think the i5 would be sufficient in this case, or should i spend the extra money for the i7?

Willing to spend the extra cash, then get the 6700T, but for your needs the i5 is good enough. The i7 has a larger cache compare to the i5.

Having a bunch of browser tabs open, music playing and downloading content, uses next to no cpu that even an old core 2 could do that. If those other tabs are doing something then it would be more but most "multi taskers" don't actually multitask and just have other stuff open at the same time.
