what is the best CPU intel i5 6600k or i7 6700 . what do you think which one is best ? please help me i am totally confused

Depends on what you intend to use it for, and whether you want to overclock, or not.

If you are just gaming and you have a Z170 motherboard, I would just go for the i5 6600k.

The 6700 would be my pick, if not wanting to overclock. Any 1151 motherboard will handle it, and no need for aftermarket cooling, unless you want it.

Get a cheap B150 board with 4 RAM slots (~$60) and the i7 6700 then. Use the included cooler for the i7. The 6600K only makes any sense if you intend to overclock.

They're both about the same, but the 6700K is $40 more expensive, does not include a heatsink, and may be overclocked, which if you do, could give it a ~10-15% performance lead.

Do you have any testing for the i7 6700? I wanna buy it too and i got stuck in this zone too . I really dont want to get a bad cpu for gaming , even though editing matters to me too
