Intel i7 4790 + CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO - Temp without OC.

Will this be ok combo if I'm not planning to overclock my PC? I'm planning to use CM 212E with 2 fans in push pull (price is 5$ more for extra fan).

Rest of PC is/will be:
- XFX R9 280A graphic card.
- ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 motherboard.
- G. Skill Ares 4x4GB DDR3 1333MHz.
- XFX 450W Core Edition.
- Hitachi Deskstar 320GB SATA II HDD.

Yes, this will be ok if not gonna OC, but if not OCing, suggest getting a H97 motherboard than a Z97 motherboard.

Yes,that is an excellent setup,but you can change some things.
If you're not going to OC,get a H97 motherboard,like an AsRock H97 Killer.
I would change the HDD to a Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB or a Seagate Barracuda 1TB.
Get that R9 280 and OC it so you can get to R9 280X clock speeds.
The CM 212 EVO should keep your i7 at 35 idle and 55-60 (63 max) when gaming.
If your CPU temps go over 65 temps,then you should consider upgrading your cooler to a Noctua NH-D14 or a liquid cooler,like a Corsair H100i.

I'm very limited with brands and models. Prices are crazy in my state. So from Z97 to H97,I will save about 3$.

HDD is really ok. It still works perfect,after long time. I've made some tests,and it's in really good condition.

Noctua is double the price of EVO 212.

Since I'm very limited with water cooling,there are few Cooler Master models,few Arctic Cooling stuff,and some Antec stuff. I didn't saw Crosair anywhere,there is only one model which is available and it's H50. And H50 still has crazy price.

If you save $3 on a Z97 to an H97 mobo,then stick with the Z97.
I know that the HDD is okay,this one I suggested isn't too expensive and it has 1TB of space.
Like I said,the CM Hyper 212 EVO will do just fine and it should keep the temps at 60C when gaming an at around 30 idle.
If your temps go over 65C,THEN get the Noctua NH-D14.

Try the Samsung 840 EVO ssd, they are very reliable and fast too, I think they are faster than the 520.

I decided for Intel - 5 years garantee. Samsung is faster,but you won't notice that speed diference.

I'm also planning on getting both those, as at the moment my i7-4790K runs at 70 full load (Prime95) and I want to lower it even though I've been told it's ok! Tell me what temps you get and yes, just get the Z97 as it opens up the opportunity to overclock if you ever want! And by the way, both the Samsung SSDs and Intel ones are both great, I've got one of both and they're both super fast!

So you think that an i7-4790k is not worth it over the i5-4690k? I think it is, and not just because of hyperthreading. The i7-4790k is .5 GHz faster out of the box than the i5-4690k and has 2 MB more L3 cache. You can always disable hyperthreading in the BIOS.
