Question intel i7 8750h power limit throttling

Hello i just bought a lenovo legion y740 and i just undervolt the cpu to -0.125v using intel xtu and when i run the intel xtu stress test i dont get any power limit throttling, but when i run the prime95 i get it and the clock speed goes to 2.8ghz, is that cause prime95 is too heavy and normal gaming is not going to be like that??? during the xtu the speeds are at 3.9ghz i check them on hwmonitor

Games can be real heavy on the CPU. Better be on the safe side and reduce the undervolt.

Also remember that XTU only keeps changes while it's running, changes are reset to default when XTU is closed.

Update : i just tried playing some games
Outward. Rise of industry and the new total war 3 kingdoms, i didint got the power limit throttling problem playing them it might be that prime95 is just causing it cause its to heavy for my cpu??

P95 is more stressful than most games. I would make sure it stable tho.
