Question Intel i7 9700k

Hi I have a MSI Z370-A PRO (mobo) With a Intel core I7-9700k. I recently just purchased the Corsair Vengeance LPX 32gb 4 channel; ram, full link here. ( https://www.newegg.com/corsair-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820236489?Item=N82E16820236489) it seems I can't enable xmp in my bios at all without it crashing. has anyone overclocked there cpu efficiently and effectively to allow run stable with 4000mhz ram? Or is there a better intel processor that I could purchase that would allow me full capability of my newly acquired ram?

The motherboard you have supports 'up to' 4000. The CPU benches at 2666. Considering the VRM on that motherboard, pretty much anything you can manually set in-between is a plus.
