News Intel laying off 1,300 workers from Oregon site as it reduces workforce by 15,000 workers company wide

We need rules about mass firing people...if a company has to fire a bucn h of people in a timeframe then the CEO should have their pay/bonus/etc cut as well.

The problems of company are result of leadership not random workers
And if they need government support. Like many have to ¨get rescued". The CEOSs, executives and investors will not get any dividends or parachutes.

Are we looking at the beginning of the end for Intel? What's happening to Intel sounds a lot like what happened to DEC, the company that released the first gigahertz CPU (the alpha) years ahead of the competition.
