Welcome to the forums and Happy New Year, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

after a motherboard swap i have reinstalled every driver and wiped the system clean
Please elaborate on how you wiped the system clean. Did you recreate your bootable USB installer for the OS and installed the OS in offline mode, then manually installed all drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Speaking of games, you might want to include the titles that you're taxing the system with and where you sourced said games from.
