I just put in a new motherboard and CPU yesterday and everything was working out just fine up until I had to install drivers. I put in my motherboards disk and it told me I had to install Intel(R) Management Engine and some other drivers, so I clicked the install button and it starts going pretty fast but then right before it completes it just stops and loads forever. I thought it was a problem because it was the first boot, so I restarted my PC and tried again. After try again, I got the same result. I decided I would just install a different driver from the disk and it would do the same thing. At this point I figured it was the disk itself causing the problem so I went and manually found the drivers myself to install but it still kept doing the same problem. Any ideas what I could do to fix this?

Picture is what it looks like after leaving my computer on for 14 hours to install.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-B250M-DS3H
Processor: Intel Pentium G4560

Solution
latest IMEI is 11.7.0.1054 dated Nov 30 2017, and it matches that BIOS you have installed. I wonder if this is the one that won't install now.

There is a newer BIOS since F9e dated March 9th
Generally its not a good idea to use the drivers off the installer DVD as they won't be the newest available and you should go to web site for the motherboard to get them (pretty much applies to any hardware) - https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-B250M-DS3H-rev-10#support-dl

Because of a vulnerability found in Intel CPU recently, they have released a new IMEI driver that will only install if you also have the latest BIOS. Did you flash bios before installing? if you have Bios F8 or later you should use the copy on the web site

I'm pretty sure I have the latest BIOS, I installed it through Gigabyte's @BIOS program. Is there any way I could check my BIOS version without restarting my PC? Also, I tried installing the driver from that link and I am still running into the same problem.

Download speccy Free version - https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
run it and on motherboard tab, it will show what version bios you are on.

wonder what version of Intel Management Engine you have installed
right click start
choose device manager
click on the System devices arrow to expand its view
find Intel Management Engine Interface in the listing and right click it, choose properties
open driver tab and tell em what number it is

Microsoft may have installed the newest version already

I am running version F8 for my BIOS and my Intel Management Engine Interface version is 11.7.0.1045
