Intel ME Service

I see an "Intel ME Service" in MSConfig/SystemConfiguration/Services. The column titled 'manufacturer' says 'unknown.' Is this service legitimate? Seems like Intel would take one more opportunity to identify itself.

That should be the "Intel Management Engine"

Yes...I did not explain myself well, however. Other Intel services are identified as "Intel Corporation" under the manufacturer column. I just wondered if the lack of consistent company identification might indicate the service might be illegitimate.

Yes I understood this too. I'm not sure if it's legitimate or not, but there's a service with that name.
