[citation][nom]liquidsnake718[/nom]WHat are the specs, I currently have a netbook with an N330, which is basically a dual core 1.6ghz atom. I assume this will be a 1.66(.6mzh more yay!) Maybe if ppl are lucky a 1.8ghz dual core?!?[/citation]

This is 1.5 GHz. Your processor and the D510 and D525 (1.67 and 1.83 GHz, respectively) are all considered nettop processors, while this is the first for dual core Atom technically made just for netbooks. I, too, would like to see Asus release a new netbook built around the D525 and the Ion2 platform.

End of August, right? I did forget all about that, thanks! It does look impressive for a netbook.

I have a N550 and despite being dual core it is slower at converting XviD to MPEG than my venerable Pentium 4 2.4, should that be the case ?

I have the N550 Dual Core, I upgraded my ram from 1 to 2 GB. Now with minimal power savings on the Intel GMA. I'm able to play SWAT 4 Sherrifs Special Forces. COOL! I used Windows 7 Ultimate x64

It is a cool CPU, but a little slow, and the integrated graphics are minimal but with some tweaking and low video setting in 800x600, SWAT 4 RUNS!!

I got my 1024x600 screen down scaling supported so I can have any resolution up to 1152x864!

Still the chip is to slow for Fruity Loops.

I probably have the best running N550 netbook and it serves me well!
