Question Intel Optane out, my new m.2 not being detected

So basically, the story is best buy gave me the wrong drive when I asked for mine (a WD M.2 NAND SSD). I put the intel optane into my m.2, then I get a call from them so I removed it.
I got my actual drive and put it into my computer but it isn't being detected, not even in the BIOS.

  • All SATA Ports are enabled in the bios
  • AHCI Mode

Computer is a Lenovo Legion Tower T5 28IMB05

im assuming the intel optane screwed up something

tried to reset the bios to default settings while the m.2 is connected?
