Intel or Amd

So if it doesn't use much processor power, I think AMD 64 is a better choice because it's definitely cooler than Intel Prescott.

But then, which one has chipset with better (faster and more reliable) storage management? Is it AMD with its HyperTransport or 1st party Intel chipsets (9xx)?
 
Forget Intel unless your planning on buying A liquid cooling system and very expensive high speed DDR2. You will also need to spend around $250.00 on the right MOBO. It takes alot of money to get an Intel anywhere close to AMD.
