Intel said that OEMs should start shipping patches for the recently discovered Active Management Technology (AMT) privilege escalation vulnerability. Meanwhile, the company recommends system administrators to scan their systems and disable AMT.

What CPU do you have? Unless you have a CPU that is supported under the vPro this wont affect you as it is mainly the Business class products that have the full feature set for vPro.

If you have a K series CPU than it wouldn't work anyways.
