Intel Pentium G4560 and GTX 1050 ti

So I put a gtx 1050 ti into my computer, and a few games, such as Total War Warhammer works great, but most games, like Overwatch and Terraria, are so slow I hardly get 5 fps. My research shows that this processor runs well with this GPU. Anyone know what might be wrong? My gpu is an MSI gtx 1050 ti 4gb ddr5. My monitor is plugged into the gpu also. And idk if this is important, but I have 8 gb of ram

It's only a DUAL Core , so it will hold you back in CPU demanding games.

Lower than 5 FPS seems very wrong. It shouldn't really be anywhere near that bad.

That's way too low even for that CPU/GPU combo, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date and make sure there's nothing else running in the background that would hinder performance (streaming/web/AV scans).

If the problem still persist then I would do full AV/Malware scans.

The generic comments you made is not helping. Even holding back, 5 fps is not right.

I am suspecting setting issue. Can you check CPU/GPU/ram/vram usage and temperature during game? MSI Afterburner is a good tool. VIrus/Malware is a possibility but warhammer is running fine, so less likely.

Is your monitor plugged into your 1050TI and not the motherboard?
