Don't see why not... It supports both 64 and 32 bit natively, and is fairly modern.

As long as your CPU supports PAE, NX & SSE2 from what I've read and heard you should have no problem.

I am sure it will work, I know some guy using an intel atom at 1.6 Ghz saying it runs smoothly compared to other OS.
