For gaming, switching out the 2700K for an i5-2500K and the 6870 for a 6950 would offer far greater performance. Of course, that is using SB and Radeon 6000 as a substitute. You might be able to get a i5-3570K and a Radeon 7890 or 7950 instead once IB is released, that would be far better for games than an i7 and a weaker video card.

That is, assuming that you want a card like that for gaming.
