well the only thing is that when i play i think my pc has less fps than it is supposed to have.That's the only reason i downloaded this(a friend suggested it ).

do you know what may be causing the problem? i mean the fail to the diagnostic tool?

I was running the IPDT and kept getting FAIL over and over. I did some research and found out that I had to configure the test.

This is what I did:

Run IPDT as Admin
After the first Fail, click on "tools"
Under "config", scroll down to SPBC and check "disable"
Start the test again...

worked for me

I got the same problem with a i7 6700k.. When playing games it is at 4,2 GHz with me though.

Tools->Config->Edit->Parameters->CPU Frequency->%High Tolerance 100->%Low Tolerance 100 -> works like charm!
