I have a All in One HP Pavillian computer purchased Oct 2016. It says I can't download Windows 11 because of no TPM.
I know Intel has a PTT security device that needs to be enabled. I looked all over my BIOS and can't find it.
Please tell me how to locate it with easy to understand instructions.
Thanks

A computer from 2016 isn't going to have a processor on the supported CPU list. If you still want to try, it'll be in the BIOS. To get to it, go to Settings -> Update and Security -> Troubleshoot -> Advanced Startup -> press the "Restart" button. After the computer restarts, select Troubleshoot -> Advanced Options -> UEFI Firmware Settings.

It'll likely been in either CPU features or Security options in there.

if your system has it, mine is on the 'Peripherals' page in the BIOS, like 6 items down, INTEL ...(PTT). Don't confuse the 'Trusted computing' option with it, that enables the TPM chip if you install one.
