I have an old computer with a 350 mhz pentium II deschutes and an intel se440bx2 motherboard. Is there any way I could turn up the fsb in the bios or with jumpers?(I have tried, but it seems it has an automated feature for determining fsb and multiplier settings). And if this is not possible, how can I get a program such as softfsb to do this through software. In the latest version of softfsb my motherboard is not supported, and I dont know what PLLchip? I have.

Thanks in advance,
cafritio

Intel boards donmt allow overclocking of any sort, but if you know the clock generator you can overclock it a bit with those utilities like softFSB. look for the chip near the crystal on the motherboard. if the board isnt explicitely supported, you might find that the clock generator chip supported in softFSB.

SoftFSB/CPUFSB is the only way to go, you'll have to read the model number off the clock generator itself, the chip is about 10mm by 20mm, thin, and normally located near the CPU socket.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
