If it can't handle that kind of workload then I wouldn't want to use it for anything. On the SATA side, an 850 EVO is more than good enough for "light professional applications"; heck, I know solo pro types who are still crunching away on desktops built with Samsung 830s.

I'm on board with this analysis. I received a 1TB Samsung 850 EVO last year and since then I've only written about 350 GB to it. Realistically, the 760p's endurance is adequate for 99% of users.
