These will probably be too expensive to be gaming cards. And they're not going to be more powerful than what they already have most likely.

Oh probably. But you get people that want to get involved in AI or whatever else needs large amounts of VRAM, who want to be able to game afterward and don't want to have to decide between a GPU for workloads and a GPU for gaming, or buying two GPU's... If Intel's willing to do that, you could get a reasonable GPU for both tasks.
