Intel to AMD; facing black screens! Help!

Hello everyone,

I recently changed my CPU & Cooler , MOBO and RAM. I had an i5-7600K and now I have an AMD 2700X.

After doing so I am now being faced with a randomly timed black screen, and if this happens during games it causes a crash especially in fortnite, it causes sound loss in overwatch but it happens less frequently in overwatch, and if I don’t have any games running but Battle.net is on it causes it to show nothing but a border for the window and I can’t do anything.

Does anyone have a solution?

Yes I re-installed but no use, still getting black screens

Sounds like a motherboard issue to me, can you give more details on your setup? RAM, Mobo, PSU, etc

motherboard MSI x370 gaming plus, g.skill trindent RGB 3000 MHz 16gb RAM, 600W Thermaltake PSU, MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X GPU

Is your memory actually running at 3000MHz?

Okay so I updated BIOS again and so far everything seems to be alright, if there’s anything new i’ll Let you guys know.
