Intel should rename them "Electron, Proton".
G series Ivy Bridge Celerons and Pentiums are making good names already.

Gotta 'love' how enthusiasts appear to have an urge to go scatological on stuff that clearly isn't intended for them.

Unfortunately, the number of people and applications that do not require any more processing power than that to handle their everyday business is larger and growing faster every year. We aren't in the pre-Core2/AMD64 days where a new PC every 2-3 years used to be a must anymore.

Yeah, my mum and sister still use laptops with T7200 chips in them (C2D 2.16GHz 65nm). New laptop time soon, but it's hard to find anything a world better worth the price.
