[SOLVED] Intel Turbo Boost enabling itself?

Hello, everyone!

So I have an i7-3770 (non K) and decided to disable turbo boost in the BIOS for better temperatures.

The problem is, after a few reboots turbo boost enables itself again and I have no idea why.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks!

My motherboard is a Gigabyte B75M-D3H.

No idea why the BIOS setting isn't sticking, but you can also disable turbo boost in power management => [power plan] => advanced => processor power management => maximum power state.

Set it to 99% instead of 100%, and it should prevent the CPU from turbo boosting.
