Intel Unveils 120GB SSD: The X25-M Sweet Spot

The 40GB entry drive is looking pretty good now. Windows 7 won't need more than 25GB anyway, so that would leave some room for other programs like Photoshop.

Cant buy till a GB =< a dollar. No matter how good the tech is. :-/

Not sure what's up with all the thumbs down with all the people (including myself) that have the patience to wait for the inevitable price drop that will bring SSDs into a decent price range. I guess all the "pioneers" realize in hindsight that this time next year I'll have 2x a big a SSD with at least 50% better performance with 50%$ of the cost.

This to me seems like such a stupid move for Intel. Who would buy a 120GB drive 3 months before the next generation drives?
