Intel USB 3.0 Ports Not Working On Asus P8Z77-V-PRO

I bought an asus p8z77 v pro but the intel usb 3.0 ports aren't working🙁
First i installed the driver on the cd, then it worked but as soon as i installed the asmedia drivers they stopped working...
I reinstalled the intel drivers but nothing happened.

If i go to system information, the bios info thats given is American Megatrends Inc. 1206, 6/5/2012

Im new to this so how do you update your bios 😛

Get a USB stick and plug it into your PC. Use -> TOOLS-EZ-Flash

Download the latest bios for your motherboard and unzip the .ROM file to the root of your USB stick.

Restart your PC, enter the BIOS, go to TOOLS-EZ-Flash, and if it is all working ok, you should see the contents of your USB stick listed.

Select the .ROM file, then follow the on screen instructions.

When it has finished, it will ask you to restart your PC.

I Updated the bios but ports still arent working

Observe same issue with my new build. Also P8Z77-V Pro. USB ports quit after installing drivers. Curious on your success to date.

In my case also notice that Win7 Pro (64 bit) made its updates. Cannot say it was Asmedia install or Win update. Tried uninstalling USB drivers and reinstall with Asus downloads (rather than detect hardware with windows). No success.

He fixed it 😀
