I need a processor, which is very good for games and is very good for work.
I've noticed in some tests, the i9 7900x delivers much better gaming performance than zen1950x, but it loses a bit in apps for work. The price difference between them is great.

i9-7900x for R$ 3.800 ( REAIS BRASIL )
zen-1950x for R$ 5.500 ( REAIS BRASIL )

Looking for the highest performance in games and also in apps, what would be the best option?

There are also 2 other options I've noticed.I still do not know if it's worth it.
i7 6950x For R$ 5.500 ( Real Brasil )
Ryzen 1920X For R$ 3.300 ( Real Brasil )

Of all, what is the best option looking for the highest performance in games and also in apps?

Intel i9 7900X
Intel i7 6950X
AMD 1950X
AMD 1920X

haha, it does hurt the head....I hear ya.

From a purely gaming perspective I'd recommend the Intel CPU all day long just to ensure max FPS. 240Hz is kinda crazy. 144Hz is absolutely awesome for gaming and the 165Hz overclock thing is kind of a gimmick. I notice zero difference when OC'ing my monitor to 165 and I've read articles that it can actually cause issues so I don't even use it. I would absolutely go 2K at 144Hz, just make sure you've got a good GPU to push that. I'm on a 1080ti personally but I believe a 1080 will do well. I'm pretty constantly at 190FPS with the 1080ti, 2K at 144Hz in Battlefield 4 for instance which is way more than my eye really needs. I'm on an i7-7800x OC'd to 4.6 for reference.

Hit up google and...
Depends on what apps you're running really. Overall, the 6950X is a bad decision one way or the other considering the 7900X is faster, also a 10-core and much cheaper.

In some cases, the 7900X is actually outperforming even the 1950X even with the 1950X having more cores simply because the IPC of the 7900X is so strong. Not the case with all applications though. From a purely CPU perspective, for both gaming and high end app performance, I'd recommend the 7900X. That said, if you're gaming at 4K, then gaming performance will probably be about the same on each. At 2K and lower the Intel will outperform overall in gaming.

If you want to go crazy on storage performance though, X399 can RAID NVMe SSDs out of the box....

I understand. I would use for the games:, CSGO, Battlefield1, PUBG, Generally Fps..
For jobs, I would use video editing, image editing, and 3d jobs as well as stream games

I'm waiting for the Acer predator X27 4k / 144hz for view price haha. For now I'm in doubt of two monitors
Asus Rog Pg258q 1080p 240hz
Asus Rog Pg279q 2k 165hz IPS
I do not know which one to buy, the price difference of the two to Brazil is the same.

Yeah you're really on the brink here CPU wise. If you're gaming at 2K now and may go to 4K, AND you're video/image editing, the 1950X may actually be the way to go. Just put a little OC on it. That gaming is going to primarily stress your GPU, not CPU. Your editing/rendering apps will likely prefer the core/thread count of the 1950X also. If I were you I would take to google and find all the articles you can comparing actual performance difference between the 1950X and the 7900X for your editing apps and gaming at 2K. There's a ton of them out there. Should help in your decision.

AS for displays, I personally just made the jump to 2K on a PG278QR (TN panel). For the money, I kind of regret not just going with the Dell TN or the Predator since (1) the color on this thing is pretty bad, even as far as TN panels go and (2) 45 days in I've already got a stuck pixel so I'm pissed. To me, 4K is just not worth it for gaming considering the investment you need to make in to GPUs just to get decent FPS. Considering your gaming AND doing video/image editing you probably want an IPS display, not a TN, for better color reproduction. I'd stick to a 2K quality IPS.

Concluding. For monitor 240hz 1080p is the i9 7900x better? and for 2k-4k 144hz is the 1950x better?
I also do not see so much in 4k, I prefer fluids in the game and mush fps, than resolution.
I do not know if I get 1080p 240hz or 2k 165hz. This hurts the head ...

Hit up google and research the 7900X vs the 1950X for your editing apps and see the real world differences others are experiencing. That could sway your decision.
