I feel sorry for the 23.7% who use NVIDIA chipsets.
I also have 2 Nvidia chipsets. Absolutely love 'em. There is a difference between Nvidia performance chipsets, and Nivdia value line IGP chipsets, ya know. I happen to own the latter of the two, which is where their strength lies IMO.

790i has been accepted as quite decent actually. It's all the others that cop the flack.
i would take the 780i over the 790i any day. after about....9 BIOS updates they managed a pretty decent chipset. the 790i seemed to get the short end of the stick on updates to make it a better product (by comparison).
All this comes down too is Nvidia being mad at Intel for advancing to far/fast. Nvidia cant keep up or cant progress fast enough, so the next easiest solution is to b1tch and bring courts into this.
Besides, Nvidia couldnt develop a stable working i7 chipset if they wanted to. Hell, Intel is probably afraid to hand over the license due to them giving i7 a bad name. After all, Nvidias loyal Vendors got over it real quick, just ask EVGA. They could care less about Nvidia chipsets. And given the suscess of their first non-Nvidia motherboard im willing to bet we will be seeing more Intel/AMD chipsets from them in the near future.
If Nvidia cant get this straight then their wont even be any vendors left to sell their chipsets. Two of their top vendors have now ventured off into other endevours/projects. XFX is now making ATI cards, and EVGA has an Intel chipset.

I only have ever used value, and I mean value Nvidia chipsets. I love cutting corners or that extra $5...
