[SOLVED] Intel X540-T1 - Terrrible outgoing transfer speeds

Installed an Intel X540-T1 10gb nic in my PC. It's connected to a Netgear XS505 switch which my unraid server is also connected to. When transferring from the server I can hit between 4 and 500MB's which is the limit of the drive. However, when transferring from my PC to the server, I'm seeing sub 10MB's throughput. When using my onboard gb nic I max it at about 115MB's in both directions. Googling this issue found other people with the same problem, but none of them ever found a solution. Any idea what could be going on here?

You probably need to run iPerf on the two boxes to verify that it is a network problem. There are lots of other things on a windows box that could be the problem.
