[Intel Xeon] E5-2670V3 or E5-2683V3?

Hello there!

I see them go on ebay for about the same, only thing is that the E5-2670V3 is sold in Engineering samples and the E5-2683V3 somehow go for cheap with being retail versions? Which one will be the better performer? both for games and rendering videos 😉

Make you life simple. Don't buy the engineering samples. They're not supposed to be for retail.

That is the only difference between the two, more cores slower speed or less cores faster speed

Engineering samples are fine, i run an old i7 975 engineer sample without issues
