Intel Xeon X3360 2.83 GHz Vs Q9550

Hello guys i found a really cheap pc with Asus P5E64 WS Evolution for mobo and Intel Xeon X3360 2.83 for cpu..The seller says it has the same performance as a Q9550.I want to ask is it good and can it play games(not demanding) with a gtx 650? I want to know can i use it for light gaming and browsing or is it only for servers??

It still has shocking performance. Similar performance to the Q9550 at stock, though the 9550 can be overclocked to get a lot more performance. Overall the Xeon's clock is too gimped to be a decent gaming chip anymore. Best thing that could be done is to test it, but that costs money 😛

Is it ok for normal browsing and light gaming like DOTA 2?
