Question Intel Z690 boards with DDR5 worth it?

Is a Z690 board with DDR5 worth it for 3D design, 3D rendering, movie editing, and gaming? Or DDR4 fine?

Worth it is a bit subjective. I would suggest reading reviews, like this one, and then deciding if the price difference is worth it to you.

You can get away with a B660 chipset board if you don't want to work with ram that's beyond DDR4-3200MHz. If the cost of DDR5 and DDR4 are the same in your region(which I doubt), I'd pick a Z690/B660 chipset + DDR5 ram kit. If you're going to learn how to do rendering work, I'd stick with a budget build which will logically be B660 + DDR4-3600MHz + processor of your choice(which should be a non-K suffix) Intel to round up that arena.
