I don't know what you are talking about but the proof is right there below. I fully remember and there is the proof for all to see.

Yes, you've been caught, I said what I said about a video card review, not AMD.
Lets try this again shall we

You did say this to me about AMD not video cards or anything else just exactly like I said here is the exact link
and in this thread 8 up from the bottom post.

I still say I was cornered into calling it a lie. Which is like saying I only shot you because you were pointing a gun at me. At that point I only had 2 options: Say it was the truth or a lie. Black or white. Intent be damned.

Then you said

Nope, I never said that about AMD. Sorry, you've got it mixed up with a comment I made about a video card review. Either that or you're purposely using a comment I made about a video card review to deceive people again, like you continuously try to do.

So I show the link and proof and you denied it again! Why? Proof is there. Why denial. AHHH yes you refuse to admit you were wrong. This is the stuff that keeps hurting you. BTW I'm still waiting to admit you were wrong on xp rating formula being meaningless numbers.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

Your 83.3 is close on the 2600+ barton 333 1916.3mhz only off by 6.3 mhz

very very close on the 2800+ barton 333 2082.9 close enough for a match

very close if a 3000+ was called 2900+ 2166.2 as 3000+ runs at 2167

It really only lines up properly with one because there is no 2900+

This means 2500+ barton @ 1833 + 83.3 + 83.3 + 83.3 = 2082.9 = xp2800 of the 333 512 variety

so this is your way of turning the xp rating into random meaningless numbers. These particular cpus should line up quite close as they are identical only mhz as a difference. I would think somone could bench a p4 and come up with some close matches with a ad number thing. Then claim it's not a real benchmark they are just adding 221 to the mhz of cpu. so long as you know the result you want should not be to hard to do.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

I showed you the statement you made, from the same thread, concerning that video card review. Here's an earlier statement from that SAME THREAD where you brought in stuff from another thread. In fact the earlier thread was about a video card review, just as I honestly said before. I don't have to admit anything because you're lying again.

I'd admit I was wrong about the XP rating numbers, except that would be lying, something I leave for you to do. I prefer honesty.
Wow until that post I thought you just walked away from being wrong or just tried to weasel around it. It's so frigging ironic that you have called me a liar countless times based on nothing. Now look at you!! You are not trying to weasel you are flat out lying now. In that thread you keep linking to we discus video cards as much as this thread. Have we ever talked about video cards? I would doubt it. I just checked the thread no where near your post to me does video come up it was just like this thread me saying you are wrong over and over for calling amd liars. You admit that was wrong in the link thread I show. Now you say it was not amd but video we were discussing.

You keep pointing to links that prove nothing you just say we were talking about video cards. This is the same thread you called me a liar over and over based on bizarre nothings Other posters spoke up and said you are wrong darko21 never lied that I have seen. And even more strange it's the same thread I have been linking to a great big amd arguing thread like this one. You keep linking to posts in the thread saying we are discussing video. Surly it easy to see you are clearly lying. Now that is bad!!!!

You are one weird dude!

You did say this to me about AMD not video cards or anything else just exactly like I said here is the exact link

Please show a link near in time to where I show you admitting calling amd liars is wrong, where video comes up? In the previous few posts I don’t see any but I’m sure you could edit and put one in.

So frustrating and ironic you keep calling me a liar. Freak

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

with this link

All within a few post in the same thread and no mention of video crap just scroll from the bottom up starting at 8 from the bottom.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

You can repeat yourself all you like, but unlike you, I actually remember the truth. The truth is, you said I called THG liars, I linked you directly to that post, and you lied about it over an over in this thread. You were refering to another thread, located Here, where as usual you attacked me without provocations, because that's what you do.

Why denial? Because I hate liars, which is why I hate you. And I really do hope you lie about that certain special person who hates it enough to kill you. Because that's what people who bear false witness deserve, they must be killed before they say something that destroys a person's life.

Only a place as big as the internet could be home to an ego as large as Crashman's!

OK in a now completlty different thread and forum mind you, where you disscussed thg as liars over SFF box. You say cause I showed you a link in the real thread where we are talking about you acusing amd of lying and a few short posts later you appologize for the acusation! I accept this apology let the thread die and now you say you were refering to a graphics thread on sff boxes.

Am I getting this?

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

AMD actually had a number in MHz to go with their first XP's for the 100 rating steps at one time. I think it was something like 72.3, but I can't remember. At any rate, they were stepping up 66.6 because that's what the bus speed allowed, and when they got to the point where the difference between the base number and 66.6MHz got to be too great, they took two frequency steps for one increase in model number. I'm going by memory alone on the equivalency for the original Athlon, but I think the adjustment was at XP2000+. Of course they released a new, more efficient core, so that more than one version of the same XP rating was available even back then.

If you go backwards from The XP3200+ to the XP3000+/400, you'll see that every core gets a different step size. You can look at each processor and see that. AMD chose a benchmark set when left enough + headroom that even if the 3000+/333 wasn't 7% better than the 2800+, they could still show it was faster using their benchmark set than the P4 3.0. That gives them pleanty of headroom to name a CPU whatever they like, becuase they know their benchmarks will show that the name was a conservative guess as compared to the P4. But it doesn't do much justice to a guy trying to decide if the price difference between the 2800+ and 3000+ is justified when he's considering only AMD processors.

BTW, I really don't want to fight over 6.3MHz, but the smallest multiplier AMD uses is 1/2. And bus speed math, 33MHz isn't a whole number, it's 1/3 of 100, as in 33.333 continuous. Same as 66MHz is 2/3 of 100, in reality 66.666 continuous. 83 is 83.3333 continuous, it's 1/2 of 166.666 continuous. So I was really off by 0.3MHz, I should have said 1916.6 (.7 except that for some odd reason nobody seems to round up on bus speeds). At any rate, it's never the same for any given board because no boards use a clock generator that "perfect", I've seen the fractional part of the bus speed at nearly any speed. Add to that some companies round off the bus speed, and all I can come up with is 1916.6 using the 166.6MHz bus at 11.5x multiplier, which could be called any variety of things by any variety of people.

Re: which could be called any variety of things by any variety of people.

Yeah good point! there is lots anyone can do with numbers to draw a wanted conclusion.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.
Edited by darko21 on 05/12/04 11:43 PM.

166x11.5=1909. 166.6 continous x11.5=1916.6 continous. The second number is more accurate but the first is acceptable to many people.

Only a place as big as the internet could be home to a hero as big as Crashman!
Only a place as big as the internet could be home to an ego as large as Crashman's!

I'm just saying that if you want to compare the XP3000+ directly to the XP2800+ you would be more accurate calling it an XP2900+. That part has nothing to do with P4's, except that it would appear the name was used to match a P4 speed.

Re: you would be more accurate calling it an XP2900+.

I could not agree more if using a plus 83.3 therory. for 333 barton cores of course

I don't lie. I made a mistake calling the THG staff comment a lie when in reality is was a simple mistake. Score one for THG staff, you still loose.

You said, in the thread YOU linked to, that I called THG staff liars. I showed you the post where YOU said that. And my response was that I shouldn't have called their over-generalization a lie. Now, where did YOUR comment that I called THG liars come from? The other thread, in the other forum. How did that get connected to the thread you linked? You did it. How did you do it? You said I called THG staff liars. And so my comment didn't have anything to do with AMD, it was all about THG staff, and it didn't have anything to do with the rest of the thread, it had to do only with your comment, which you brought from another thread. So it's all been your fault all along, and since you're the one who's looking to assign blame, there's your proof. I linked you to the statement you made about me calling THG staff liars, I linked you to the place your comment came from simply because I'm so nice as to go out of my way for you

And then you turn around and say I'm lying. I've caught you lying, over and over and over again, and you've gotten so used to it you just don't seem to comprehend the fact that you can't fool me.

Only a place as big as the internet could be home to a hero as big as Crashman!

Negative! you said

I still say I was cornered into calling it a lie. Which is like saying I only shot you because you were pointing a gun at me. At that point I only had 2 options: Say it was the truth or a lie. Black or white. Intent be damned. I knew you'd be here though. You know why? Because you're just pathetic enough to look for any way to prove I'm wrong at anything. It's funny, because I've been wrong before, I answered several questions wrong on my Calc final. But then again, I was never that great at Calc. I'm not an expert at everything, just the stuff that makes you angry.

at leat in what we have been recently talking about

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

You said, in the thread YOU linked to, that I called THG staff liars. I showed you the post where YOU said that. And my response was that I shouldn't have called their over-generalization a lie.
Yeah you are very quick to lable a person a liar are you not? You are the only person in these forums I have ever called a liar and only cause you relentlessly call me that based on a missunderstanding confusion or simple mistake or nothing.... You do it freely. Just like in the last thread we argued in my very last post to you was and Make no mistake you ever call me a liar again I will jump on you like a kangaroo.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

So THG amd and me are all liars, or at least you have called them that. Who else here that I don't know of? I can't read all your posts.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

For everyone: Here's the links you need to understand what Darko is trying to get away with:

Where Darko quoted me as saying THG are liars

Next comes my reply, notice it's the same thread
Oh, and I would apologize to the author for using such a harsh word concerning his oversight, except that I don't think he's reading this thread.

And then I made a second response to the same post, Here

So now all of you can see that Darko's claims that I was speaking of AMD are false. I was speaking of THG staff. You can look at the entire thread in threaded mode to verify that I am being completely honest with all of you when I say, I was refering to Darko's comment.

Now, how does that relate to a video card thread? That's where he got his "THG are liars" comment from.

Only a place as big as the internet could be home to a hero as big as Crashman!
Only a place as big as the internet could be home to an ego as large as Crashman's!

Nope, I don't lable very many people liars. Get ready to jump! There's you...and then a few others. There are people who lie occasionally, but that wouldn't make them a consistant liar. Then there's you. You wanted everyone else to believe that I made some apology about AMD's rating system when in fact you yourself knew that the apology I made was to THG staff. And if I thought they were reading this, I'd offer another appology to them. But for you? You knew better.

Only a place as big as the internet could be home to a hero as big as Crashman!

ok your link 04/19/04 05:09 04/19/04 05:09

5 and 1/2 hours later I show you calling amd liars 04/19/04 11:26 PM I post to you. 04/19/04 11:26 PM

Then 6 hours later again your responce saying or claiming an apology to someone or body (unknown) who now you say is not a liar, so you say a mistake.. now somthing like 24 hours after what you say you are refering to 04/19/04 05:09 which is 24 hours after your original post go figure. 04/20/04 05:35

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

An analogy of what just happened.

Crash remember when you said 41.65 x 2 = 67 and I said no it don’t

Then you said later admitted 41.65 x 2 = 83.3

And I responded 6 hours later with why yes it does crash why say that now? You did after all say 67

Because 24 hours ago 12 hours prior to your question I said 67 because we were talking about my IQ in the video thread, I mean graphics thread even though video never came up and we were talking about my IQ in that thread…..See I am honest and you are a liar. Pants on fire. I am rubber you are glue everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

No it's not real for anyone who might think it is... But a funny analogy none the less.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

I warned you in the last thread we argued in!

Make no mistake you ever call me a liar again I will jump on you like a kangaroo.

You made the mistake. Now put your nomex suit on cause it's going to get hot. BTW I am a structural fire fighter by trade. and it's a cool 67 degrees where I am.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

Any questions, just look at it in threaded mode and see that all the statements you refer to me making are initiated by your comment that I call THG staff liars. There's a buch of post there, all about the same thing.

BTW, AMD and Intel are both making processors, based on improved old cores, that perform so well they can't be properly represented by MHz. So they both went to alternative naming systems.
