Hey all, lookin for a little help on picking what would be the best purchase. So here is the explaination:
My cousin lives in the basement of his brothers house (long story lol). Anyway, he called me the other day and says that he need a Wi-Fi adaper card for his desktop so that he can pick up the siginal upstairs. His brother has a cricket crosswave 40a1 (not really sure what that is), but is also planning on switching to verizon in the coming month.
So was wonder is the community could reccommend a decent card with a price between $1-$35 (he doesn't have much money). I usually buy thru Newegg so it would be a plus if the card could be purchased there, but its not a deal breaker.
Not sure what info is needed to help me out, I'm also not 100% sure what he has. I know its an older (prob 5yrs old) eMachine, 1.6Gz, 1Gig of ram and he is running window XP.
Any help wold be greatly appreciated.
