Intermittent crashes on YouTube and Netflix. Windows 10

Good afternoon,

I have what seemed to be 3 different issues on my computer but I am now convinced that they are all related. I'll talk about each of the issues individually.

1. YouTube Crash: YouTube video streaming seems to be working fine, then out of nowhere the video will crash. The message I get is "An error occurred. Please try again later." I then have to re-load the video. It happens at different times and can occur multiple times during the same attempts to watch a video or it might not happen at all (at least in shorter videos.)

2. Netflix Crash: Netflix does the same thing as YouTube and displays an unexpected error message.

3. Audio Pauses: While listening to music (on my computer, not streaming) or when watching a video, the audio will suddenly drop out. The video will continue playing for a few seconds then the audio will turn back on. This happened in different video players.

There is a connection between the YouTube and Netflix crashes because if I'm watching them at the same time, they will both crash at the same time as well.

Assume that I have all the most recent drivers and Windows updates, what could be causing an issue like this? Needless to say it is very frustrating.

Any help would be great,

Michael

Greetings, Quirkle:

What Win 10 build are you running?

I had the exact same problems (apart from Netflix, which I don't use) with build 10565; I suspect it had something to do with the nVidia driver 358.50, and I finally tired of it and went back to build 10547. Now everything's working fine, and I've decided to wait for a finished version of 10565.

Cheers,
GreyCatz.
