Question Intermittent detection of M.2 NVMe SSD ?

I installed Windows 10 LTSC OS to an Apacer 120GB M.2 NVMe SSD. When I powered on the system and press F2, the BIOS will open and in BIOS Boot Option the M.2 SSD is not shown. When i again powered OFF and powered ON the system the M.2 SSD is detected Intermittently.

But when i installed the RHEL 8.4 OS to the same M.2 SSD, it is always detected, not Intermittently.

What could be the reason for this problem, and the solution?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

i installed windows 10 LTSC OS
How did you fabricate the bootable USB installer for your OS?

Make and model of your motherboard(if this is a desktop we're talking about here)? BIOS version for your motherboard? If you're on a laptop, you can mention the make, model and SKU to said laptop(as well as it's BIOS version).

The Motherboard is VPB76 SBC which is Concurrent Technology Product, BIOS version is 4.16.01, I took the ISO image of Windows 10 LTSC and made it Bootable using Rufus application and then Installed it to the Apacer M.2 SSD.

SSD: Apacer 120GB M.2 NVMe, P/N: B92.225HHV.00425

Clean the disk and reinstall the Windows 10 LTSC OS....test.

If no help see if the media creation tool allows LTSC...test.

If no help, install a different version of Windows 10....test.

I have reinstalled the Windows 10 LTSC and there is no change with the issue, and I also installed windows 10 pro but no change, but when I installed Rhel 8.4 Linux on the M.2 SSD it is working fine (No intermittency issue found).

Also i have tried installing windows 10 LTSC on a different M.2 SDD and its working fine (No intermittency issue found), Is the issue with the M.2 SSD or with Windows, or does the Firmware version of the M.2 SSD matter ?

If there is a firmware update for the ssd install it and test.
