I've been getting Windows Installer Service could not be accessed and Error 1719's and other for a month now!! I can't install anything (tried 20+ programs) This fixed my install issues... thank you

First,
1. open Task Manager
2. File menu => New task
3. Explorer =>choose file
4. Check Run admin
5. Confirm

It works on Windows10 also.

With respect to those that have previously answered this question, most of the methods that have been posted are simply workarounds. The actual solution has been posted but for those that may require additional assistance I have created a video guide to fixing this problem permanently. As a previous user has stated the problem is due to a permissions issue involving the temp folder inside your Windows directory.

In my video below I demonstrate a step-by-step guide to fixing this problem in under four minutes. After following this guide you will no longer experience Windows installer error codes 2502 & 2503
