[SOLVED] Internal Hard Disk not showing up

I just put my new hard disk in the pc and I don't see it in Disk Management to format it, but gets detected by mobo bios and windows. What can I do ?

Have you tried changing SATA ports and data cables, also double check the power connection.

Does the disk show up if you open a command prompt window and type:
diskpart <enter>
list disk <enter>

if it does, then just continue with:
select disk n <enter> (where n is the problem disk, choose carefully)
clean <enter>
exit <enter>

Then it can be initialized in DM and formatted.

nope, its showing me only the ssd

and i think its connected good because it shows me up 0,6 gb used after downloading some windows updates on it

Download SeaTools for Windows and install. Then run the short drive self test and short generic. If it passes those run the long generic, which will take a while to complete.

Yes it should, that is the official Seagate diagnostic tool for RMAs.

Return to the storage pool page and see if you can click on the remove near the drive, it may be in a pool.

Downloading the exe for that, and then running it, installs the driver (hopefully?) on your C drive, not this new drive in the pool.

Power off, reboot.
Then, does this drive appear in Disk Management?

Go to Disk Management,
create partition, format and assign drive letter.

BTW - why did you create storage pool the first place? Did you follow some tutorial or something?
