Internal Microphone and Webcam on Dell Vostro 3560 not working

I have got new Dell Vostro 3560 laptop. Installed all drivers on Windows 7 64 bit operating system. The Internal microphone as well as webcam are not working at all.


The Dell Webcam central shows message "Please plug-in supported device".

When tried running dell diagnostic process, it just does what I can do manually. It tries testing internal microphone by recording some sound and then asks us if I can hear it. When I said I can't it shows microsoft links which are useless.

Please suggest a proper solution for the issue.

Sounds like a possible hardware issue. If you still have a warranty might be worthwhile contacting the manufacturer.
Before you do anything, though, can you open DEVICE MANAGER and see if it can detect your microphone & webcam?
