Hi there, I have read alot regarding this but I thought it would be best to ask for some advice.

I am looking to replace a secondary 500gb stock hard drive in my computer for a 2tb hard drive for storage of music, documents, etc. 2tb is probably too much but it seems to be around 10-20 more so it makes sense..

I have found these two but I'm not sure which to choose, or maybe there is another I should go for instead? Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you

Hey there, James!

If you are just planning to use the drive as a secondary storage for your massive data, the WD Green should do the job as this is exactly what this HDD is designed for. If you play games or use demanding software, then the WD Green might not satisfy your needs.
I don't know why it is listed as a 7200 RPM drive, because all WD Green drives use Intellipower which is a fine-tuned balance of spin speed, transfer rate and caching algorithms designed to deliver significant power savings and solid performance.
If you want a 7200 RPM drive, then I'd recommend you to take a look at the WD Black and WD Blue as well.
However, the biggest capacity the WD Blue can offer is 1 TB but it's a reliable solution for everyday...

The WD Black is mostly used in gaming rigs for power computing. This drive gives maximum performance and has a 5-year warranty, but as I said you won't be able to notice much of its features unless you use demanding software applications.
Here is the page with the internal desktop drives comparison that I mentioned: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=aEsA92

Good luck! Hope that was helpful! :)
