Internet browser will only load Google

For the past couple hours, I've had an issue with my internet browser where I cannot load any webpage except for Google. I can search something in Google and it will display search results but if I try to click a page, I'll be met with an endless loading screen and it's the same for all my bookmarked sites and anything I type into URL bar's

I'm using Windows 10 and I've tried virus scanning with AVG which shows nothing and resetting my router but nothing is helping.

The only thing I can do with any internet browser on my PC is load Google.

Any help in this would be appreciated

Is it safe to assume you are posting this from a different computer at the same location (same router/ISP) as the computer in question?

If so, which browswer are you trying to use (IE, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, etc...)? Have you rebooted the system or tried any other browsers?

I'm currently using my phone to post here.

I've tried with Chrome and IE, both with the same issue and rebooting doesn't seem to work either

Also, while I do have a wireless router, my machine is connected with an Ethernet cable

What happens when you manually type in a URL? Just try something "www.tomshardware.com"


If that fails, try taking a look at this option: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135 (hopefully, you can click and read that from your phone).
